The Office of Marriage and Family Life Ministry strives to encounter, accompany, and integrate leaders and parishes in fruitfully bringing about a renewal of the culture of marriage and family life, by strengthening The Domestic Church, through resources, training, and consultations rooted in the teachings of The Catholic Church.

The Office of Marriage and Family Life Ministry carries out the Bishop’s ministry to the families of the diocese, primarily through the structure of the parishes. The office offers support and provides resources for preparation to the sacrament of matrimony, enrichment for the vocations of marriage and family which includes natural family planning, parenting education, and pastoral support to marriages and families during life transitions. The office also provides formation on Marriage and Family Life education at all stages: the remote (children), the proximate (youth and single young adults), the immediate (engaged and cohabitating couples), and the pastoral care (married couples).
